Acknowledging actions

An acknowledgement message, wow, similar to an alert dialogue. And a loading screen. I was just shocked by this experience. What if the user doesn't read the dialogue. There are many ways to design this simple process to inform the user about a successfully uploaded document.

  • A green checkmark beside the uploaded document.

  • No need to use alert dialogue; it is not a confirmation; it is just an acknowledgment.

  • Be brief, a written message in green, only on top or below the uploaded document.

  • Provide an undo action.

  • The user needs to see the uploaded document there.
